It is antibacterial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antifungal, and antiparasitic; it can also firm the skin, strengthen connective tissue, and minimize the appearance of cellulite. Cinnamon is one of the world’s oldest spices and medicines. In clients with rosacea, cinnamon acts as an antiparasitic agent effective against the proliferation of both Demodex folliculorum and Demodex brevis skin mites.
